What we’re all about

Crypto and blockchain technologies can be the best thing to ever happen to the social good sector...if we allow them to be. We are in the midst of a technological revolution that has the potential to drastically change our lives, and the lives of many, for the better.

There is plenty of talk about the business implications of blockchain technologies. Businesses including logistics companies, insurance brokers, and online review platforms, have the potential to be transformed by blockchain technologies, for the better. However, much less discussion is taking place about the potential for this technology to revolutionize the social good sector. We believe more attention needs to be brought to this because the potential is endless. This is our focus. This is what we are all about.

Whether it is providing refugees or displaced persons with a reliable means to store important documents related to their identity, or a program to securely process microgrants to entrepreneurs in developing countries, or a new token that rewards students for their volunteerism, the possibilities are truly endless. We haven’t even begun to scratch the surface of the potential for blockchain and crypto innovations to revolutionize the social good sector.

We aim to highlight the good being done by blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies around the world, while also shining a light on the not-so-positive uses that are causing harm, such as scams or negative exploitations of this technology. We will not only look at current projects, but will highlight the potential future-use cases of this amazing technology.

As crypto and blockchain are emerging technologies, we also believe in the importance of factual, evidence-based education. We will aim to provide high quality educational content, and we hope that you will learn something new whether you are new to this space, or are a seasoned crypto enthusiast.

Now, there are a few things that we will not, under any circumstances, do. We will never make buy or sell recommendations on specific coins or tokens, and we will not publish any price predictions. We are not in the business of following the moves of the market. Rather, we are in the business of following the good being done by the technology, regardless of its place in the market.

We truly believe that we are at the beginning of something special, and that decades from now, blockchain technology will be a part of everyday life, just as many prophesied the internet would be back in the 90s.

It’s going to be one hell of a ride, and we hope you will join us!
